Map Prachan Reservoir



Royal Thai Navy Rowing and Canoeing Training Center (RCTC) is officially the host venue for the 2019 IDBF 14th World Dragon Boat Racing Championships (WDBRC). The RCTC rivals top facilities in the world with infrastructure exceeding current international standards for hosting, accessibility, and pristine water conditions. It includes a top quality start system and a standardized international course. The RCTC is located at Bang Phai Reservoirs. With its basin-shaped characteristic, the RCTC is truly the perfect one for the competition.

Width: 90 – 120 m
Depth: The racing course is 4 meter deep.
Sides: Uniform slope of 29 degree; docking facilities extend the length of the racing area for an easy embarkation
Current: Negligible to none – scientifically measured and confirmed
Water Quality: Excellent quality freshwater – source of municipal tap water supply
Avg. Water Temp: 25 – 27 degree Celsius in August

All race distance will be held at the RCTC.




The 2019 14th WDBRC Organizing Committee is offering arrival and departure transfer from/to Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Mueang International Airport.



Teams must purchase a shuttle pass to use the shuttle service that regularly runs between the official accommodation and the venue.



The 2019 14th WDBRC Organizing Committee is organizing various tourism excursions and packages for participants to purchase in advance, to explore and discover Pattaya and its vicinity, after and/or during competition.
